The rockets hit right in the middle of the building, according to the police. Residents say they heard two explosions that destroyed more than ten apartments.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has promised that those responsible for the attack on Zaporizhzhia will be held accountable.
"The terrorist state wants to turn every day for our people into a day of terror. But evil will not reign in our land. We will drive all the occupiers out, and they will definitely be held accountable for everything", he said.
Five people have died and eight have been injured as a result of the attack. Ten more people may be under the rubble. According to rescuers, there is very little chance of finding them alive.
